Bird's Nest - Basic Rock Sugar Recipe

Instructions: 

1. Soak in tap water over night or at least for a few hours, ensuring that the Bird's Nests are totally submerged in the water
2. Wait until the Bird's Nest expands and then proceed to remove the naturally occurring dirt. Eg. Feathers
3. Prepare a slow cooker to boil the Bird's Nest, ensuring that the cooker has been heated up first before placing Bird's Nest into the cooker
4. Boil for 45-60 mins and finish with some rock sugar to taste
5. Serve warm or chilled to liking
